Bulk freight
Walking floor factoring
Biomass, scrap, and byproduct freight, funded the same day when it's in by 11 AM CST. No contract, no minimum, and no fee for a slow month.

You can factor the one account that pays in forty days and invoice the two that pay in fifteen yourself. There is no requirement to send us every customer, no minimum on how much you do send, and if you want to bill a customer yourself again, an NOA release hands them back.
The cash cycle
Why walking floor freight waits.
Walking floor freight is high volume and low margin per load, which makes it unusually sensitive to payment timing. The trailer is expensive, the freight is light and bulky, and the money is made on turns rather than on rate. Anything that slows the cycle, including waiting thirty days to be paid, directly reduces how many loads a truck can run in a year.
The customer base is also less uniform than it looks. A regional sawmill, a municipal transfer station, and a biomass plant have three different procurement processes and three different payment cultures, and a carrier running all three is managing three separate collection problems on top of driving.
Factoring collapses that into one. We invoice each of them, we follow the payment, and you are funded the same day, on loads in by 11 AM CST, regardless of which of the three the load was for. What you keep is the choice of which customers to send us, which matters on this freight because a carrier often has one slow account and several fine ones.
What rides in it
- Wood chips, bark, sawdust, and mulch
- Biomass and wood pellets
- Municipal solid waste and recycling
- Scrap metal and baled cardboard
- Agricultural byproducts and compost
Who pays the invoice
Sawmills, paper and pulp mills, biomass power plants, landfills and transfer stations, recycling processors, and waste brokers.
This is what actually gets underwritten. Approval depends on your customer’s credit, not on your operating history.
Paperwork
What to send with the load.
Send all the paperwork related to the load. What that includes depends on the customer; these are the most common. Upload it all to the Smart Freight Portal.
Rate confirmation
The agreement with the broker or shipper, showing the load and the agreed rate.
Scale tickets
The weights, on any load that is weighed or paid by weight.
Bill of lading
Signed at delivery. It is the proof the load moved.
Not sure what a customer needs? Call and ask before you haul it.
How it works
Haul it, send it, get paid.

Haul the load
Book it wherever you book freight. You choose which customers you factor, customer by customer. Nothing obligates you to send us all of them.
- 02Monday, 10:15 AM
Send the paperwork
Upload all the paperwork for the load to the Smart Freight Portal: usually the rate confirmation, scale tickets and bill of lading.
- 03Monday afternoon
Get paid the same day
Loads submitted by 11 AM CST, Monday through Friday, are paid the same day. Loads submitted after 11 AM are paid the next business day. The money lands in your bank by ACH.
Questions
Walking floor factoring, answered.
Can I factor only one of my customers?
Yes, and on this freight most carriers do. You choose which customers you factor and which you invoice yourself. Once you factor a customer, all of their loads come to us, and there is no minimum on how much that is.
Is there a minimum invoice amount?
No. There is no minimum invoice size, no minimum number of loads, and no monthly volume commitment.
Get your walking floor invoices paid the same day.
The application takes a few minutes and commits you to nothing. No contract, no minimum, no monthly commitment.
